Chess Club

We are pleased to offer this high quality program with Mladen Vucic, an International Chess Master.  Students will sharpen their aptitudes while studying strategies, openings, endgame techniques, problem solving techniques, chess history, notation, and playing with other students.  Every class will include formal instruction as well as playing time.

Mladen has won hundreds of tournaments in the New York area, and is currently listed on the United States Chess Federation’s op 100 players.  This summer Mladen played two international tournaments in Greece.  Mladen started teaching children chess  in the 1980’s.  Since then many of his students have gone on to become champions.
