Located on North Lake Road, off South Buffalo Street, the Park is open to Orchard Park residents and their guests. The site includes:
- Tot lot playground
- Glider swings
- Splash pad
- Picnic areas and shelters
- Beach fronts
- Swimming area
- Bath House/restrooms
- Bocce courts
- Basketball court
- 90' baseball diamond
- Hiking trails
- Boating access
- Town of Orchard Park Recreation Building
Weddings: The park is open to residents to take photos on a first come, first serve basis. However, wedding ceremonies are not to be held in the park.
Fishing in Green Lake
Green Lake was stocked in 2019 with the below species of fish. Individuals who are fishing need to have a NYS fishing license and abide by DEC rules and regulations for Green Lake.
- Large Mouth Bass
- Black Crappie
- Fat Head Minnows
- Golden Shiners
- Yellow Perch
- Grass Carp
The lake was stocked in 2019 but it has not been done for 2020. When and if it happens this year is still to be determined based on the current state of emergency mandates. Updates in the weeks and months to come will be posted here. A fishing license is still necessary and can be obtained through the Town Clerks office or Dick's Sporting Goods.
Boating in Green Lake
- Orchard Park residents are permitted to canoe or kayak in Green Lake.
- No motorized crafts allowed.
