Green Lake will be closed from 7/22-7/24 for herbicide application for algae prevention. No Swimming or Boating. Green Lake will re open 7/25 for swimming and boating.
The lake was treated on 7/8 for HAB and our water tests since came back clear to re open the swim area. The second application of treatment will take place on 7/22. The lake will be closed for 24 hrs following treatment. We will re open swimming and boating on 7/25.
Please note if we receive .50 inches of rain or more we are required by Erie County Health Dept. to close for 24hrs once the rain stops to test the water for ecoli.
